Join the Atlantic Guitar Quartet on Friday, June 26, 2015 for a concert at the Sitar Arts Center in Washington DC. AGQ will present a concert celebrating the music of the modern composer/guitarist.
This concert will include music from French guitarist and composer Roland Dyens, as well as the experimental electric guitar music of Fred Frith and minimalist composer Phillip Glass. In keeping with the quartets mission to expand the repertoire for guitar, the group will also present "Dialogues" by Baltimore composer/guitarist Julien Xuereb, a piece the quartet premiered last month.
